At Preschool Puzzle, we carefully pack every brain teaser and puzzle to make sure it arrives in perfect condition, ready for you to solve. Here's everything you need to know about how we ship your puzzles.
Puzzle-Safe Packaging
Brain teasers are precision-crafted objects — wooden joints, metal interlocks, and delicate mechanisms all need proper protection. Every order is packed with cushioned inserts and sturdy boxes sized to prevent shifting during transit. Secret boxes and cryptex puzzles get extra padding to protect their moving parts.
Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Once your puzzle has been packed and dispatched, you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number.

All standard orders over AUD A$49.99 qualify for free shipping — an easy reason to add another brain teaser to your collection. Orders under this threshold have a flat shipping fee calculated at checkout based on package weight.
International Shipping
We ship puzzles to most countries worldwide. Delivery times vary by destination:
- New Zealand: 5–10 business days
- Southeast Asia & Pacific: 7–14 business days
- Europe & North America: 10–20 business days
- Rest of world: 14–28 business days
International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Most individual brain teasers are compact and lightweight, keeping shipping costs reasonable. Please note that import duties, customs fees, and local taxes may apply upon arrival. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our pricing.
Order Tracking
Every shipment includes a tracking number. Once your puzzle ships, you'll receive an email with a link to track your package in real time. You can also check your order status any time on our Order Tracking page using your order number and email address.
Delivery Attempts
Our carriers will attempt delivery to the address you provided at checkout. If no one's available, the carrier may leave the package in a safe spot or leave a card with redelivery instructions. Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order — a wrong digit can send your puzzle on an unintended adventure.
Shipping Restrictions
At this time, we're unable to ship to:
- PO boxes
- Remote or very remote areas may incur additional surcharges

Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages
If tracking shows your package was delivered but you haven't received it, check with neighbours or your building's reception. If you still can't locate it, contact us within 7 days and we'll work with the carrier to sort it out.
If your package is significantly delayed beyond the estimated window, reach out to our team. We'll investigate with the carrier and, if needed, send a replacement puzzle or issue a full refund.
If your package arrives visibly damaged — dented box, crushed corners, or signs of rough handling — please photograph the exterior packaging before opening it, then check the puzzle inside. Get in touch straight away with photos and we'll arrange a free replacement. Wooden and metal brain teasers deserve to arrive in the same condition they left our warehouse.
Gift Orders
Sending a brain teaser as a gift? We can ship directly to the recipient. Simply enter their address at checkout. Gift orders don't include pricing information in the package. If you'd like us to include a personal message card, pop it in the order notes and we'll tuck it inside.
